E-mail

Electronic mail has significantly changed the way many people in government, businesses, and at home communicate due to its rapid speed and convenience. As a matter of fact, most Internet users rate e-mail as the main reason for having Internet access. So what is electronic mail, or e-mail? E-mail is a form of communication in which people with computers, Internet access, and e-mail accounts can exchange electronic messages (usually text, but images and other things can also be included) with one another. In order to utilize e-mail, you'll need an e-mail client, a computer program that manages electronic mail. Netscape Communicator includes an e-mail client component called Netscape Messenger. In this unit, you will learn how to get the most out of Messenger's many features. Click on a topic below to start your Messenger tutorial!
