Composer Toolbars

Netscape Composer has two toolbars to help you create Web pages, the Composition toolbar and the Formatting toolbar.

The Composition toolbar contains buttons for managing the body and contents of your Web page.

New Page: Opens a new Composer window.
Open File: Opens a Web page (html file) from the hard drive.
Save Page: Saves the current Web page.
Publish Page: Uploads the current Web page to the Internet.
View in Navigator: Previews page in browser.
Cut Text: Cuts the selected text.
Copy Text: Copies the selected text.
Paste Text: Pastes the cut or copied text.
Print Page: Prints the current Web page.
Find Text: Looks for certain text on the current Web page.
Insert Link: Adds a hyperlink.
Insert Target: Adds a target (a target specifies where a new page will be displayed).
Insert Image: Adds an image.
Insert Horizontal Line: Adds a horizontal rule.
Insert Table: Adds a table.
Check Spelling: Checks the spelling of text on the Web page

The Formatting toolbar includes buttons for specifying format, including fonts, styles, and paragraph alignment.
