The
Navigator Toolbar
is used to help you navigate while you are surfing the World
Wide Web. When you start Navigator, its Toolbar shows at the
top of the Navigator window; if you wish to hide it to maximize
your viewing environment, click View, then click Show --> Navigator Toolbar. Repeat these same steps when
you want to see it again.
The Location Bar is underneath the Navigator Toolbar. You can use the View menu to show or hide this
and other toolbars, to maximize the viewing size of your browser
widow. The
Location Bar:
A. Allows you to enter
and edit an Internet address you want to go to:
1. Click in the Location
Bar text field.
2. Type the Website address, or URL, of the page you wish to
view.
3. Press the "RETURN" (or "ENTER") key on
your keyboard.
B. Displays the current
Web page or Website you are viewing.
C. Allows you to quickly
bookmark the current Internet site displayed in your Navigator
window. To do this, simply double-click the Bookmark icon ()
to add the current Web page to the bottom of your bookmarks
list.
The Personal Toolbar appears under the Location Bar. The advantage of this toolbar
is ease and quicker access of the Web pages that you frequent.
Your Personal
Toolbar
is empty until you add bookmarks to it. You can add bookmarks
to your Personal
Toolbar
in the form of bookmarks.
Adding
Bookmarks to your Personal Toolbar
1. Find the Web page
you want to add as a bookmark to your Personal Toolbar.
2. Drag-and-drop the Bookmark icon ()on
the Location
Toolbar
to a blank spot on the Personal Toolbar.
3. A new bookmark will appear on the Personal Toolbar. Clicking on it will take
you to the corresponding Web page.
