Netscape Composer is a WYSIWYG ("What You See Is What You Get") Web page editor. Whatever you type in the Composer editing window is what will appear on a browser. Composer makes it easy to format text and paragraphs using its many tool buttons on the toolbar.
To set the paragraph
style, click the Paragraph Style pull-down menu on the Formatting
toolbar, then select your desired paragraph style.

To specify the style you want to use, click on the Format menu and click Style-->stylename. You can then continue to type. If you only want to use a specific style for only a word or a phrase, first highlight the word or words with your mouse, then click on the Format menu and select your style.

To specify how you want
your text to align on the screen, click on the Paragraph Alignment pull-down menu on the Formatting
toolbar, then choose between left, center, or right alignment.
If you want to only align a certain word or phrase, first highlight
the word or words with your mouse, then specify the paragraph
alignment.

You can also indent
text by clicking on the indenting buttons on the Formatting
toolbar. First, place your blinking cursor on the text you
want to indent, then to decrease indent, click the Decrease Indent button . To increase indent, click the Increase Indent button
.
To select the font you wish to use, click on the Format menu and click Font-->fontname. You can then proceed to type. If you only want to use a different font for only a word or a phrase, first highlight the word or words with your mouse, then click on the Format menu and select your font.
Please note: Fonts can be displayed differently on different computers and browsers. For instance, if people don't have the particular fonts that you've specified installed in their computers, then their browsers won't be able to display the fonts. For this reason, it is oftentimes wise to just stick with the default font.
To choose the font size
you want to use, click on the Font Size pull-down menu on the Formatting
toolbar, then select a font size. Begin typing. If you only
want to use a specific font size for only a word or a phrase,
first highlight the word or words with your mouse, then select
the font size accordingly.

To set the font color
you would like to use, click on the Font Color button on the Formatting
toolbar, then select a font color from the color window that
opens. Click OK after you've selected the color
for your fonts. If you only want to use a specific font color
for only a certain word or phrase, first highlight the word or
words with your mouse, then specify the font color as stated above.
Making lists can help
us organize information in a sequential fashion using the list
buttons on the Formatting
toolbar. To make a bulleted list, click the Bulleted List button . To
make a numbered list, click the Numbered List button
. Proceed to type in the data for each item.
Press "RETURN" or "ENTER" to advance to the
next item in a list.
