   It is easy to change the preference settings to customize your Adobe PageMill. To open the Preferences menu, click the Edit menu and select Preferences. This will open the Preferences menu. Typing "APPLE"+"K" will also open the Preferences menu.

General Preferences window

In the General Preferences window, you can set general preferences for PageMill.

• You can choose to have PageMill open pages in Edit mode, Preview mode, or Source mode.
• You can choose to have linked pages open in the same window or a new window.
• You can choose a browser to open your remote links (links not in your directory).

Page Appearance Preferences Window

To view the Page Appearance settings, select "Page" in the Category pane (left).

In the Page Appearance window, you can choose the default text color, background color, link color, active link color, visited link color, or a background image for every Web page you design using PageMill. To look at the other preferences, simply click one of the categories on the Category pane (left).
